How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on district enrollment size — one flat annual fee. No per-seat charges, no per-dashboard fees, no usage-based costs. You know what you're paying before you sign.
What if our enrollment changes mid-year?
Annual pricing is locked at contract signing based on your enrollment at that time. We'll revisit tier fit at renewal — if your enrollment has grown, we'll discuss together.
What's not included?
Third-party tool subscriptions (e.g., Looker Studio Pro, data vendor API access fees) are not included and are billed directly by those vendors. Large historical data migrations — for example, cleaning and loading 10+ years of legacy records — may be quoted separately after a scoping call.
How long does implementation take?
Standard onboarding runs 4–6 weeks. We handle the technical setup — connecting your data sources, configuring BigQuery, and building your initial dashboards. Your team's time commitment is mostly in the first two weeks for access and context-setting.
What happens to our data if we end the engagement?
Your data, warehouse, and dashboards are yours. They live in your Google Cloud project. If you end the engagement, you retain full access to everything we've built — we'll provide an offboarding handoff document so your team can manage it going forward.
What is SDS Launch?
Launch is a scoped, 12-month starting point for schools that want to begin before their next budget cycle or procurement window — one SIS integration and core dashboards, live in weeks. At the end of the year it converts to the standard plan for your enrollment. Launch is offered case-by-case; contact us to see if your school qualifies.
Do we need to run an RFP to buy this?
Often not — our plans are priced with public-school purchasing rules in mind, and in many states they fall within your business office's direct or quote-based purchasing authority. We also support cooperative purchasing and state data privacy agreements (NDPA). Tell us your state on the discovery call and we'll walk through the cleanest path for your district.
Are contracts annual or multi-year?
Annual, with a renewal option — and we lock your renewal pricing at signing, so there's no surprise increase in year two. Annual terms also keep the purchase within your district's simplest approval path.
